Question:
I have a 2011 Keystone Cougar 327res, Dometic Blizzard 15000 btu AC ducted. 36 Triple Slide-outs. Im wondering what I would totally need to replace it with a Furrion 18000 BTU ducted AC you have. All needed supplies to get it up and running. Also will the Furrion 18000 be able to completely cool the whole RV? Or will I need another AC in the front bedroom area? Thank you for your help.

Hey Lloyd, thanks for the information. To replace your 15,000 btu Dometic Blizzard, you'll need the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box item # FR27TD for black or item # FR99TD for white. These are 18,000 btu units that work in ducted setups. They include an air distribution box and remote control.
If you have a furnace or just want a thermostat you'll need the Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w Air Distribution Box, Thermostat - Ducted item # FR49TD in black or item # FR69TD in white. These are identical kits they just come with a thermostat.
The 18,000 btu Furrion Chill Cubes have the brand new R32 refrigerant in it so it will definitely keep your Keystone Cougar cool. This makes it far more efficient and is extremely quiet. The variable speed compressor is always running to so it won't continuously cycle and wear itself out. It will fit in the same size cut out and work with your existing wiring. It will out perform your Dometic Blizzard so you will not need to add a 2nd unit.
What part of the country are you traveling in? I don't want to guarantee this will keep your bedroom nice and cold if you summer in the Mojave desert.
