What Thermostat Comes with Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit

Question:

So, I understand that this kit comes with everything to install the Furrion Chill Cube as well as a thermostat to control the furnace. My question is, what thermostat does it come with? The pictures only show the remote control, and the furrion thermostat wont be available until May?

Hey Scott, yes the Furrion Chill Cube Kit part # FR69TD does come with a thermostat. The thermostat by itself is part # LC74DX. The roll out of the Cube parts has been a little challenging as we did hear this was not going to be available for a couple months. What unit are you going to replace with the Cube.

Hey Scott, how did things go with the Furrion Chill Cube and the thermostat that comes with it? I'm curious if the LC74DX thermostat worked well for your setup. Your update could make it easier for the next person looking at this kit.

@JamesonC I bought the unit without the thermostat, I ran into the same issues others were having with it short cycling. I purchased the wall thermostat later only to find out that the thermistor in The roof unit is still the one in control for the AC. I ended up extending the wiring for the thermistor outside of the roof unit along the ceiling to another point. It seems to be working much better.
