Will TorkLift Tie Downs TL86NR Work On 2025 GMC 2500 Denali With Step Bumper

Will the rear anchors work on the newer GMC step bumpers 2025 Denali HD or are they to light gauge material?

Hello Alan, thanks for reaching out. I see you already placed an order for the TorkLift Tie Downs # TL86NR. I just wanted to touch base and confirm the Tie Downs you ordered are correct for the 2025 GMC 2500 Denali with the 6-3/4' bed. They will be compatible with the step bumper.

They are made of 1/4" thick steel and are some of the most robust tie downs money can buy. Never have I ever hear them referred to as light gauge.

The question was on the happijack system. As I never got a response in time, I just ordered the full set of Torklift. I know they are correct. I already had the happijack system from my Ram truck but it had a much beefier bumper. Was just wondering if the bumper style mounts would even work on the GM step bumpers. All good with the Torklift system.

@AlanB Ah ok. I do apologize for the delayed response we are a bit behind at the moment. Half of our department, myself included, were on vacation last week. The TorkLift tie downs are a much better option compared to the Happijack so I believe you will be happy with them. To answer your question about the Happijac, no, we would not recommend using those tie downs on your vehicle with the step bumper. It looks like Happijack does not even offer a fit for this which indicates their tie downs would not work at all. Not something we have tested though
