Can Furrion Chill Cube Be Used With Dometic AC System Without Air Distribution Boxes On Ceiling?

Question:
I have a 2013 DRV 41RSB4 with 2 Dometic Penguin units. I want to replace the front unit with a Chill Cube. The Peguin units do not has an air distribution box visible from inside the RV. There are 2 rows of ceiling ducts as well as 2seperate return ducts. What Chill Cube setup do I need?

Hello Russ, thanks for reaching out. The Furrion Chill Cube is a great AC unit, but it must be used with a Chill Cube controller and distribution box. If your AC system does not use a typical ceiling distribution box, you will not be able to use the Chill Cube. Your only option for replacing your AC would be with a direct replacement from Dometic.
