Will Malone Crossbar Conversion Kit Fit Steel Mesh Utility Trailer

Question:
Im looking at getting a 4×5 Carry On Steel Mesh Utility trailer and looking for racks to mount my 165lb rooftop tent. Will these racks work in a trailer like that?

Hey Lyn! The Malone Crossbar Conversion Kit for Standard Utility Trailer # MPG475 will definitely work on a trailer like yours. The lower section is 45" long and will sit down in the trailer and attach to the floor/crossmembers with U-bolts. With the weight evenly distributed the crossbars have a capacity of 400 lbs so they can handle your tent.
