Disc Brake Kit Recommendation for 2022 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS

I have a 2022 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS that I have been kicking around the idea of converting to disc brakes. What is the difference between the Hydrastar HYD44VR and the DeeMaxx DE24NR and is the DeeMaxx really worth $875 more than the Hydrastar? I know the Hydrastar HYD74VR is the same kit as the HYD44VR except it has stainless steel calipers. Are the stainless steel calipers worth $246 more than the standard kit since this is for an RV and not a boat trailer? Thanks for the help, Dale

Hey Dale, both DeeMax and Hydrastar make really nice disc brake components. Either kit is going to work really well for your 2022 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. If you want the best of the best and don't mind paying for the premium brand then go with the DeeMax part # DE24NR. If you want basically still the best performance but at a better price the Hydrastar part # HYD44VR is what you want. Like you mentioned for an RV application this would be just fine compared to the stainless steel caliper kit part # HYD74VR that you also referenced. How would you describe the drum brakes you have now?

Thanks for the information. My current drum brakes have about 22,000 miles on them and they seem to do OK with normal stopping. I have noticed when I have to really get on the brakes if something happens and I need to stop quickly it seems like the brakes are not stopping the trailer as good as they should. That is why I was thinking of disc brakes. Dale
