Which Advent Air Low Profile AC Unit for Enclosed Trailer Converted to Camper
Updated 08/07/2025 | Published 07/11/2025 >
Question:
I am converting an enclosed trailer into a camper. I noticed in the reviews and questions that this is made to replace a dometic a/c unit. Would I be able to make this work if it is the first unit I am installing? Just by running 12v to it? Thank you

Hey Blake, the kit you'd need to install an Advent Air Low Profile RV AC unit on the roof of your enclosed trailer would be the part # ADV25SR. This is designed for new installs like what you have and comes with the correct lower vent assembly you'd need. It does need 12 volt power like you mentioned.
