Question:
Will this panel charge a pair of 6V AGM batteries wired in series? have a couple of these batteries on my motorhome for more amperage.

Expert Reply:
Yes, Kirk! The output voltage from the RS-series panels is ideal for charging a 12V battery bank, whether made from 6V batteries in series or a single 12V battery. Just make sure you’re using an appropriate solar charge controller PWM or MPPT between the panel and batteries.
Is your motorhome prepped for solar already? If so, you can use Rich Solar RV Solar Charging Kit w/ 1 Panel - 12V - 100 Watts # RS27VR or Rich Solar RV Solar Charging Kit w/ 1 Panel - 12V - 200 Watts # RS37VR.
If it doesn't have the solar port, you can still use those kits but you'd need to wire directly to the battery instead of running power to the port.

Hey Kirk, how did the setup go with your motorhome's 6V AGM batteries and the solar panel? I'm curious to know if the solar charging kit worked well for you, as it could really help others in a similar situation.
