Hello Tom, thanks for reaching out. Your owners manual will be the best resource for that. The online versions says this:

"4WD vehicles must be towed with a wheel lift and dollies or flatbed with all the wheels off the ground. 2WD vehicles can be towed with the rear wheels on the ground (without dollies) and the front wheels off the ground."

Take a look at the screenshot I included. Please refer to your manual and make sure you follow all steps listed for towing your vehicle.

Have you flat towed before? Or is this your first time? Just curious

Thanks for the email! I have never flat towed and cannot flat tow my FWD Tuscon. I would have front wheels on a tow dolly.

@Tom ok cool! The Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes # RM-2050-1 could potentially work for that. You will just want to make sure your total vehicle weight does not exceed 4,250 lbs. Based on what I can see online the curb weight for the 2025 model ranges from like 3,200 lbs to 4,200 lbs not including any fuel or cargo.
