Question:
Hi, I am looking for a longer length threaded hitch pin for my Kuat Hi-Lo. I cant find one anywhere Kuat doesnt make one. I have a 20204 Toyota Sequoia TRD and the hitch has a protective layer of metal around it so the regular 4 that comes with the Hi-Lo doesnt go through far enough for me to get a lock on the end of the pin. I need probably an extra .5 or so in length. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hey Eric. Sorry but there is no other hitch pin that is compatible with the threads on the Kuat Hi-Lo Hitch Extender - 2" Hitches - 7" or 10" Extension item # HL20B. We keep running into these issues with the Toyota receivers and the manufacturer's haven't been quick to update their thread hitch pins to work with the thicker metal around the receivers.
The only solution I have for you is to replace it with the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars item # RM-072-2. You can secure it to your Sequoia's receiver with the etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches item # e98881.
