Question:
I currently have a 36ft travel trailer with residential refrigerator so when I travel I have to run an inverter. On my 4 and 6 hour trips the battery goes dead along the way. I was wondering if there was a dc to dc charger that would be compatible with my setup or, if I would be better off to just add a second battery to get me a little further down the road. Thanks in advance.

Hello Jeramie, thanks for reaching out. Using a DC to DC charger will absolutely help with this. The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Trailer Battery Charger # RED36TR is what I recommend for keeping the trailer battery charged.
You could add a second battery but those can be expensive. Adding the charger is a much more affordable solution.
What type of battery do you have? Just curious
