I was just curious if this hitch could also be used to aid in vehicle recovery should that be necessary? Since its bolted to the frame, Im hoping it should work, but I wanted to check. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Since it bolts to the frame, it's structurally strong, but it’s not designed for high-force or jerking recoveries like those involving kinetic ropes.
