I have a 2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 cargo van and looking for a trailer hitch receiver. What is the difference between the etrailer e76AR and Curt C13388 hitches?

There is just a single difference between the Curt and etrailer trailer hitches that fit your 2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Cargo Van, which is the finish. The Curt has a glossier finish than the matte black finish of the etrailer hitch, so you can choose which you prefer. The hitches that fit your Sprinter 2500 are the following part numbers:

- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e76AR

- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13388

The matte black finish is nice as it hides the inevitable dings, scuffs and scratches better than the glossy finish, but if you don't feel strongly either way about the finish, then just go with the best price.

The trailer hitch we offer for your 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 that sits the highest will be the Curt #C13388 which fits right under the rear bumper like the picture I attached. It will sit about 1-1/4 inch taller than the Draw Tite.

Hey David, sorry about the confusion but if you have a 2500 model you do need to drill but if you have a 3500 you do not. So since you have a 2500 you would need to do some drilling to install.
