Hi Mike!
The BulletProof Hitches Weight Distribution Shank # BPH75RR is made in China now, unfortunately.
If you are looking for American made, we do have the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Shank # BXW4028 that fits 2-1/2" Hitches, is 9" Long, and has a 9 Hole Adjustment so it's very similar to the BulletProof option. The BulletProof does have a higher capacity though. Maximum gross trailer weight: 22,000 lbs and maximum tongue weight: 3,000 lbs versus the Blue Ox's maximum gross trailer weight: 20,000 lbs maximum tongue weight: 2,000 lbs.
The other American made option is the Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # 325-GH-1302. This will also fit a 2-1/2" hitch, has a 9 Hole Adjustment, and is 12-3/8" long. It has a gross towing weight of 21,000 lbs and a tongue weight range of 1,600 lbs - 2,400 lbs, so still a little less than the BulletProof. It does have built in "shock absorbers" that are designed to absorb road shock (think of it like a torsion axle) and people definitely like their stuff. However, it is quite a bit more expensive.
What kind of weight distribution system do you currently have? All three of these fit the standard shank measurements and will work with just about everything out there.
