Do You Have an Updated Diagram for the BulletProof Hitches Weight Distribution Shank BPH75RR?

Updated 02/10/2026 | Published 02/03/2026

Question:

The diagram showing the measurements of the shank do not match the actual shank in the photos. The diagram shows it with just one hitch pin hole while the photos of the shank show two. Perhaps the shank was redesigned? Do you have a diagram for the correct shank? Thanks.

Hey Kevin. The BulletProof Hitches Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches item # BPH75RR has indeed been redesigned to have a second hitch pinhole. I have attached the new dimensional diagram below that I got directly from Bulletproof.

The BulletProof Hitches Weight Distribution Shank item # BPH75RR fits a 2-1/2" hitch. It has a 22,000 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 3,000 lbs. This shank has the standard 1-1/4" adjustment hole spacing so it will be compatible with most weight distribution hitches regardless of manufacturer.

What kind of weight distribution system do you currently have?

I bought one of these for my truck because I didn’t like running a spacer for my 2 1/2 receiver. It’s a very high quality shank it fits very good in my receiver no play like the 2” shank with the 21/2” spacer. I tow a 34’ enclosed race trailer and had no issues with the hit hitch after installing the Bulletproof shank . Like all bulletproof products it’s very well designed and high quality materials . Mine did have the 2 pin holes .

I bought this too use on my 2017 Silverado 2500. Using the 2 nd hole allows my tailgate to open when towing my camper. This was a bonus I bought it so I don’t need the adapter. Only downside she’s well built and heavy.

Like the others have stated. I bought this shank to avoid having to use a sleeve around my 2” shank and instead this shank fits perfectly in my 2 1/2 inch receiver on my F350. Takes a lot of the slop out if the towing. The multiple height pinholes allowed me to adjust to the perfect height for my sway bars. And yes it has two pin holes for the receiver while allowing you to extend it so you can open tailgate while it’s hooked to the trailer. Or run a little closer if this is not a necessity. Over all a great product and makes me feel a lot better with that hitch vs the 2” shank sent with the r6 sway set up. They call them bulletproof for a reason.
