Question:
How do I wire a motor home with seperate brake and turn signal lights into a single 4 way plug so I can pull a combined light trailer?

Hey Dave, if your RV has separate brake and turn signal wires, and your trailer (4 way flat) has combined, which is typical for small trailers like this, then you'll need Roadmaster Brite-Lite 3-to-2 Tail Light Converter for Towed Vehicles # RM-732 to separate out the signals from your RV.
I attached an installation video along with a wiring diagram to show how it's installed.
If you already have a 4 way flat on your RV, then it has already been "converted" to a combined wire system and you'll just need to hook your 4 way plug from your trailer up to it and you shouldn't have any issues. Let me know if this makes sense, or if I'm misunderstanding your situation in any way. :) Have a great day!
