Recommended Air Bags for a 2005 Ford Econoline 350 w/ a V10

Question:

I have a 2005 Ford Econoline 350 with V10. It has a 3 inch lift. Do you have any rear air suspension products that would work with the lift. I want to tow with it and I am a huge fan of of the rear suspension airbag systems.

Hey Russell, we sure do! It's the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers item # AL88138. These have a 5,000 lbs capacity that will support the rear end of your Ford E-350 when you're towing a trailer.

How tall is the lift in the rear of your 2005 E-350? We have spacers like the Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers for LoadLifter 5000 and 7500XL - 2" Lift - Qty 2 item # AL52420. These will work if you have a lift 2" or taller in the rear end. If you have less than a 2" lift in the rear you won't need spacers.

I recommend adding the Firestone Air Command item # F2610 to your van. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags from your phone.

What kind of trailer are you going to be towing?

@RussellD Yeah, I caught that. How tall is the lift in the back though? Is it 3" all the way around? Typically the lift's in the front ends are a bit taller.

I am currently towing a 7500lb (dry) 32’ toy hauler. And we load it down pretty good so I’d say I’m around 10k lbs

@RussellD Do you ever have any issues with your rear end sagging or your trailer swaying?
