Does Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 AL88242 Fit A 2004 Ford E-450 24 Chateau Class C Motorhome?

Hi. I wish to know if airlift Loadlifter 5000, AL88242 will fit my 2004 E-450 24’ Chateau RV. Drilling required ?

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88242 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your 2004 Ford E-450 24' Chateau Class C motorhome as long as the distance between the frame and the inside edge of the tire is 8" or more.

The # AL88242 will require you to drill holes in each side of the frame to mount the upper brackets.

This kit has a 5000lb load leveling capacity making it a great option for heavier motorhomes like yours.

To keep from having to manually inflate the helper springs each time you are ready to hit the road I recommend adding an on-board air compressor kit. I like the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Single Path # AL25592 as it allows you to adjust the air pressure in the helper springs from the comfort of your driver seat via the included switch, and the analog gauge allows you to make sure there is always the correct air pressure in the springs.
