What U-Bolts Do I Need For The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Suspension Kit
Updated 09/08/2025 | Published 06/11/2025 >
Question:
Want to know if you sell a kit with U-bolts as I do not know if mine are long enough. Beside this I would like to by a pair of extra springs. So far my springs have to get exchanged ones a year. Normally a spring on the left side driver side brakes. My guess is that the location of the fresh water tank at the left rear end of the trailer is part of the problem. We use is often and travel often with a full tank. I have a 2019 Montana 3120RL. I do consider to buy the 8K kit as I really need the max weight. Axles are 3inch 7000 pound. Trailer ist at the max weight when the fresh water tanks is filled. Do not see a problem to get it installed and I have nothing to move underneath the trailer as far as I can see.

Hey Andreas,
I do not see an issue with the Roadmaster Comfort Ride # RM-2460-2580 working on your trailer. It is going to give you the upgraded support with better rated springs, and work well on your 3" axles. With these being better rated than your previous ones it is going to be better at supporting the load you have to keep from having to replace year after year.
If you are able to get a quick measurement of your U-bolts I can find a kit for some longer ones for your install. The original ones may work but it may be good to just go ahead and replace with longer ones for the kit.
What size U-bolts are on your trailer now?

Hey Andreas, did you have a chance to measure your U-bolts to see if you need longer ones for the installation? If you're still looking for a solution, I'm happy to help.
