Rough pavement doesn’t have to mean a rough ride. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit uses nitrogen-charged gas shocks to absorb vibration and smooth out motion in every direction. The sealed cylinders compress and extend with changing road surfaces so your trailer stays stable instead of bouncing or porpoising. You’ll feel up to a 50 percent reduction in harsh movement on pavement, and even greater improvement over gravel or cobblestones.

Standard equalizers send road shock from one axle to the other, which can lift the rear tires and lose traction. The Comfort Ride system isolates each axle so it moves independently. That design keeps both sets of tires planted, increasing traction by as much as 70 percent during braking. The result is steadier control and more confident stops even on uneven ground.

Instead of a pivoting equalizer, the kit uses center hanger boxes that stay fixed to the frame. Each 27" × 1-3/4" slipper spring slides between a roller and safety bolt inside the box, turning harsh up-and-down force into smooth front-to-back motion. The rollers prevent hopping, so the ride feels quieter and more controlled while reducing wear on spring ends.

The system fits tandem 3"-diameter axles—typical for 5,000 lb setups—and includes four 2,500 lb leaf springs made from 3/8"-thick steel with 3/4" eyes. Never Fail bushings with molybdenum and graphite come pre-pressed into the spring eyes to run maintenance-free and outlast brass or nylon. With four shocks, two center hanger boxes, and all the hardware you need, it’s a straightforward bolt-on upgrade that delivers lasting strength and smoother towing.

Very Happy with the Roadmaster Suspension! A must have item! (Along with my previously installed X-Factor cross braces)
Anything to smooth out the beating that our US roads provide, is a good thing for both the 5th wheel frame/structure and our contents inside. Thank you etrailer and Roadmaster! 2022 GD Solitude 310GK. Note: Frame repair plates in photos were to repair 3" frame cracks that formed prior to installing Roadmaster and X-Factors.
These work great, so much better than stock leaf springs. I had to replace the Stock Springs twice. So far these are holding up very well. It’s been a year.
Had this system installed on 2021 Vanleigh Pinecrest 330MKP by Prestige Trailer Solutions Hudson,Fl Extremely happy with the install and product.Noticeably smoother ride, very little chucking and tires no longer hitting outriggers going over bumps.
Love it
Love the comfort ride system! Definitely greatly improves the ride. Pulling a 30ft. Camper with a half ton truck. Used to get a lot of the porpoising now it has almost eliminated it. Very noticable. Took longer than I thought it would for install....but got it done in a long weekend. Customer service was great.
The cabinet doors aren't flying open and everything rides much smoother!
Possibly the best upgrade for any camper. No more road seam feedback to the truck, everything inside the camper stays put during travel. If you're questioning if it's worth the cost, it it. Roadmaster customer service was very helpful with getting the correct kit identified.

Glad they are working well for you, Dillon! I don't think I have ever heard a bad review of this system as it just gets the job done! ^___^ What did you install it on?

We love it! Things seem to ride better and we have much less shifting of cabinet contents.
