Question:
Please help clarify. The descriptions of the Road Master RM-2460-2580 versus the RM-2460-2570 seem to be worded differently. Please confrim the 2570 is a total of 7k lbs per axle and the 2580 is 8k lbs per axle. The descriptions mix up per axle and per spring in a confusing way. Id like to order today, but would feel better with some clarification. Trailer is a 2021 Grand Design Solitude 3740bh with Dexter 3inch axles Thanks!

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers - Tandem 7K Trailer Axles # RM-2460-2570 is for trailers that have 7000lb tandem axles, and use springs that have a 3500lb capacity each (one spring on each end of the axle).
In contrast the # RM-2460-2580 is for trailers with 8000lb tandem axles, and uses springs that have a 4000lb capacity each (one spring on each end of the axle).
Now both 7000-8000lb axles are 3" in diameter, but I was able to confirm your 2021 Grand Design Solitude 3740BH has 7000lb axles so you will want to go with the # RM-2460-2570. Going with heavier rated springs can cause a stiffer ride so you will want to stick with springs rated the same as your axles.
This will be a fantastic upgrade for your trailer which will give you a much smoother ride, and make towing the trailer much more enjoyable.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.

Hi Samuel. I've got a 38' Heartland Torque 5th Wheel Toyhauler. Broken leaf springs have already been an issue. Right now I have 6 leaf leaf springs under there (started with 5). The Trailer is 16k lbs. I see you mention a rougher ride with the 8k springs, but for a trailer this big (tandem axle), could it be a benefit to use the larger 8k unit versus the 7k unit?
