Hey Jon, would the part # 753-0776-09 work for you? It is M8 and the threaded portion of the knob measure 1-5/8 inches long.

Sorry wrong piece. I am looking for the KNOB that fits the M8 x 26 T-bolt that I already have. It is the 853-5714 Replacement Knob for Thule Professional Ladder Tilt. Thanks for trying, and for the gentleman who patiently figured out what I needed this evening!

It looks like you have the Thule Aeroblade bar. The T-slot dimensions are 1/2 inch wide for the top of the opening and 3/4 inch wide at the bottom. The T-slot is 1/8" inch tall.
