Question:
Hi, Im just trying to get the correct ball hitch for my 2025 Odyssey. I installed the concealed Kurt receiver and the center of the receiving opening is right about 13 in from the ground. I know places like U-Haul typically recommend a height of 18 in to the center of the ball, but Im not sure how to pick the right hitch to achieve that.

Hello Casey,
Getting things ready for a U-Haul, big move coming up?
I just looked up how U-Haul says to measure, and it is a little different than how we do it. On the vehicle end we measure from the ground to the inside top of the receiver, then on the trailer end to the bottom of the coupler. Since you have a 2" receiver and measured to the middle, that puts you at 14", and on the U-Haul side they measure to the middle and it is a 2" ball, so that would be 17". When I subtract the 17-14, that tells me you need a 3" rise.
So you will want the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise, 4" Drop - 9-1/4" Long - 16K # 40331, and for a ball # A-90.
If you do not have the right size socket to install the ball, you will want to grab a 1-1/2" 12pt Socket - 3/4" Drive - Chromium-Vanadium Steel # ALL643210.
If you are moving and need some help, let me know and I will rally the troops =)
