The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver – Class III – 2" has a 4,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight rating and a 400 lbs maximum tongue weight. The hitch has performed flawlessly. I would suggest two things. One, for this particular installation, a wider bolt pate would be useful to assist in tightening the rear bolts. I had to use a screwdriver to prevent the bolt plate from turning to tighten it. Second, You should add a warning to re-torque the bolts after using it the first time to ensure it is still tight. On mine, both rear bolts had seated with movement and, partially because that bolt plate mentioned earlier, it allowed it loosen slightly. That was with just 28 hours of hauling. For anyone that has done any installations, they know to re check, but thats not always true.
