Question:
We have a 2022 Ford Escape hybrid that we just had an etrailer base plate installed for flat towing behind our rv. We would also like to put one of your tow hitches on the car. What wiring kit would we use in the rear of the car that would just plug in? We have had diodes put in for the blinkers

Hi Bruce, I'd be happy to help you with that!
For a trailer hitch, I'd go with the etrailer brand # e89YR. For a trailer wiring harness, I like the Tekonsha # TE54FR. The wiring harness is a plug and play install, but you will need to run a 12V feed to the Escape's start battery using the included wire and hardware.

Hey Bruce, did you get a chance to install the Tekonsha wiring harness and run the 12V feed to your Escape's start battery? I'm asking because your experience could help others looking to set up their vehicles for towing.
