Question:

Will a Curt C45RJ hitch fit a 2025 Mustang GT with active valve exhaust? If not, do you offer another Class 1 hitch that will fit?

Hi Doug; the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C45RJ is a pre-order item. Since it hasn't been fully developed we don't have any information on fitment restrictions yet. Once Curt finishes the hitch we will be able to answer that question. As of right now, they're the only company we know of developing a hitch for the 2025 Mustang.

If you have a more immediate need for a hitch I recommend taking the # E-911 to a local fabricator to see if they can fashion a custom hitch for your Mustang GT.

@RobinH I have not been able to find anyone who would custom build a hitch for a 2025 Mustang. What is your status?When will the hitch be available?

@DougB we are still waiting on Curt to finish it, I don't have an ETA. We used to get more definitive answers from them, or at least updates on what the hold up might be, but it seems like all of my original Curt contacts have been replaced with Lippert reps. They aren't willing to commit to anything or give a straight, non-corporate answer.
