Do You Have A Pre Greased 5200lb Hub Assembly That Is Galvanized?

Question:

I am looking at part AKHD-655-6-EZ-K and AKEBRK-7-D. 1st ? do you have a fully assembled pre-greased galvanized Hub ? Secondly, Can you please tell me the manufacturer and name of the lithium complex greased used, so I can be sure to get the same and not mix them. I am replacing my current Dexter 5200 lb hubs and electric brake assembly, these 2 items should fit ? thank you

Hey Jon,

For the hub and drum assembly we do have a galvanized option, but none that are pre greased. Part # AKHD-655-6-G-K is the full assemblies with bearings, but they do not come already packed.

As long as you get a lithium complex, multipurpose grease for the hubs you will be set. Brand doesn't matter, the type of grease does and our pre greased hubs use that lithium complex grease. You can find that at any local hardware store or trailer shop. You will want to double check the size of your wheel studs, the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K are half in wheel studs. If you have those both of those parts are going to work great for you.

RE- lithium complex, multipurpose grease - Does Color matter, red, blue, grey. ?

@Jon Color does not matter, the base of the grease does. So lithium complex is what you want to use. Manufacturers changes colors throughout the years so color doesn't matter for that just as long as the type of grease is the same.
