Question:

Help the mechanic that installed this hitch receiver that I bought from you guys said it didn’t come with Ace key? My bike rack is now stuck on my car and I have to get it off. Can you help? THANK YOU!!

Hey Amber. The etrailer Hitch item # e84ZV you bought from us doesn't have any locks on it and I do not see an order for a bike rack or a locking hitch pin like item # e98881. It sounds like either you or the mechanic installed a bike rack and a locking hitch pin that locks with an Ace key.

I recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the bike rack or calling a locksmith for a replacement.

Hey Amber, did you have a chance to contact the bike rack manufacturer or a locksmith for help with the Ace key issue? I'm asking because your experience could guide others facing a similar problem.

@JerredH Hi Jerred, thanks for checking. I did contact the bike rack manufacturer and they do not supply extra keys. I was able to have a locksmith cut it off. Thanks!
