Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at a Hollywood Rack's Destination E bike rack mounting light bar. So folks, this is gonna give you nice, bright LEDs that are gonna keep your rack and those bikes visible to other drivers. Now when it's installed, it's gonna be something like this, and then you can pull this spring loaded pin here and then fold it down if you need to, depending on your situation. I'm gonna leave it like this just so you can see it more level and everything. You do get the seven-way, to four-pin adapter.
I've already plugged that in here. You also get a little tester so you can test the vehicle side to make sure everything's working. And then of course you get all the mounting hardware. You get the hook and loop strap here as well. Everything here is a nice powder coat finish, very heavy duty, durable makeup.
This will sync and do your brake and turn signal as well. And it installs in minutes with the included hardware that they've given you. And of course, everything here is made to be outside in the elements, so it's sealed up against rain, dust, road vibrations, everything like that. And because it's LED, you don't have to worry about those bumps messing up stuff. Now, I do wanna light this up.
I do have a little test box here that we can get some power onto this. So bear with me and I wanna show you this with the lights on in the studio and with the lights off just so you can get the full picture of what's going on. So, obviously we got our taillights, left turn brakes, and right turn. So, I do want to zoom out and then we'll go ahead and shut off the overhead lights in the studio. (light clicking) And as you can see, very, very nice, very bright, easy to see far away.
And again, just overall a really nice build quality and just the idea of everything.
