This Curt Class III hitch gives you solid towing power for light trailers, campers, cargo trays, and multi-bike racks. The 2" x 2" receiver opening is the standard size that fits most bike racks and cargo carriers, so your accessories will slide right in without extra adapters. With a 3,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 350 lbs maximum tongue weight rating, it’s strong enough for everyday towing and gear hauling without being overbuilt.
You can bolt this hitch directly to the frame using the included hardware—no welding or drilling needed. The mounting holes line up precisely with existing points, so installation goes smoothly even in a driveway with basic tools. The complete hardware kit and instructions are included to help you get it done right the first time.
The sturdy, square-tube steel is fully welded for strength and coated in a gloss black powder finish over a protective base coat. That double layer helps prevent rust and corrosion from salt or rain while keeping a clean look under the bumper. Once installed, it stays solid and resists wear from years of towing or carrying gear.
This hitch features a concealed cross tube so only the receiver is visible below the bumper. That means you keep the factory look of your vehicle while getting all the utility of a Class III hitch. It sits tight and clean—ready for your next trip with bikes, a cargo platform, or a small trailer hitched up behind.

Great price and quick delivery! Instructional videos and comments were very helpful.
Good price on a good hitch
Did it by myself, but would be a lot easier with someone helping.
Great product and fit with easy ordering and on time delivery. What more can you ask for.
Hitch worked perfectly on 2025 RX350h. Install was as described except for a small plastic tab sticking out on the bottom of the bumper. Simply removed it with a hacksaw blade so the hitch could match up with the bolt holes. Hitch very well made but packaging not so good. Hitch had come through in three points. The mounting brackets as well as the center tube. Coating was scratched and chipped in a few locations. Integrity of the products was not compromised but definitely could provide better packaging for shipping
The hitch mount fit just fine. A little tricky to get in place by myself, but I persevered. I would recommend a helper. The box arrived damaged, the tangs were protruding from the box, but it's a chunk of metal, so it was fine. It had broken free from the internal tie downs inside the box. I've attached a photo.
It fit and it is very sturdy. Easy to install. 30 minutes by myself. Four bolts and done.
The fit was incredible! I did not have to drop my exhaust and I installed it by myself within a half hour.. The look is great and as described, now I have a receiver for my bike rack and storage basket, I can also tow if it becomes necessary..
I'm extremely pleased with this trailer hitch and would recommend it to anyone, I'll help you install it...:)
I read all of the reviews from other customers stating that the shipping is a problem, and mine was no different. It arrived with the box torn and damaged. I think that etrailer should consider bracing part of it with a small strip of wood instead of relying on cardboard. There were a few chips and scratches in the finish that over time I’m sure are going to be places where rust begins. Even so, I think this is a good hitch and I’m reasonably pleased with how it arrived.
Removing my OEM 1.25” hitch was pretty easy. The old hitch is tucked up high behind the bumper and above the plastic bumper clips. Removing it was straightforward with just four bolts and the plastic clips. Installing the new hitch, however, once I started the process, I realized that the new hitch sits below the security clips of the bumper, not above where the old one was. So I had to clip everything together before I installed the new hitch.
Another solo install customer said that they used some jack stands, I did the same thing and it turned out to be pretty helpful. I used a floor jack to help position the last two bolt holes. I also used a utility knife to cut or shave a small fin that the bumper has that interfered with the metal hitch. No big deal.
It took me about two hours to do, but that includes the removal of the old hitch and I was in no hurry and solo. One thing I found to be very interesting was that the torque specs on the bolts are 86 foot pounds. Even with my very long torque wrench, getting 86 pounds of torque required significant force. 86 foot pounds is definitely more than I’ve tightened anything else. So keep that in mind as you’re installing this, you’re gonna need to crank on it hard.
It’s too early to say how this will hold up over time, but I’m pretty excited to have a 2” hitch on my car instead of a 1.25” hitch.
I have a 2024 RX 350 Premium, the hitch fits perfectly, I didn't have to remove or lower the exhaust, it took me about 40 minutes, it could take less time with the help of somebody but it's definitely something you can do on your own if you have the tools or you can just take it to local shop and pay a few bucks. I raised the car a few inches to give me enough room to work the wrench but not really necessary if u have a smaller torque.
The trunk kick open/close sensor still works, however you have bring your foot to slightly touch the hitch for the sensor to react to your foot.
Nice quick project.
Hi, I did not use either installation provider, riverside or Temecula valley rv, I did the installation myself in about 30 minutes. It was very easy and I did not have to lower my muffler, just had to twist the mounting up over the muffler hanger on both sides. My wife helped me with that and then I used small 2x4 blocks to support while I put the bolts in… Super easy, very happy with this purchase. Packaging needs improvement, the cardboard box did not hold up and it arrived with the mounting legs punched through the box. Lucky there was no visible damage.
Fast delivery. Boxed well. Fairly easy install by my self (it took some props and magic). I am glad I purchased the better model hitch.
It was extremely easy to find and order the Curt hitch for my 2025 Lexus RX350 and I was surprised it shipped on the same day and the tracking was dead accurate. The installation couldn’t have been easier. I installed it by myself is less than 30 minutes. You guys are the best!
Fast shipping. Well packed
Perfect fit and simple installation.
Well built and perfect fit. The one end was sticking out the top of the box. Maybe wrap it with cardboard? Took me and my friend “jack” about 40 minutes to install. Does not interfere with rear lift gate sensor. Happy with purchase.
Precisely built and of good quality, this is my second hitch like this. I installed it is 45 mins by my self with the help of a couple of wooden boxed to rest the receiver on. Did not have to drop the exhaust. Did have to trim 2 small this plastics tabs from the inside of the bumper. Not bad for a 74 year old.
Great service and fast shipping great company highly recommended
Great product and easy to install with just myself and my wife. I did it flat on the ground with no Lift and my wife and I secured it pretty quickly tomorrow I will do the electrical. Great company, fast delivery and great. Follow up. Can’t go wrong with E trailer.
I'm a little perturbed. The hitch receiver perfectly matched up with some tabs that were on the plastic bumper cover (see pics). Because of those tabs, the holes would not line up to start the bolts.
For fear of voiding my warranty (who knows?), I won't state what part of a Dremel or of tin-snips that I may or may not have used to customize the fit.
But before the customization, it did not perfectly fit my vehicle.

Otherwise, the hitch receiver seems robust. All I plan on doing with it is carrying my bike(s) on my Kuat rack.
Had to lower exhaust pipe to get the bolts in. Not an easy job. I finally paid my mechanic. The video makes it look easy.
Shipping was fast, communication was great
I am a fairly small girl and installed by myself so trying to hold this thing up with one hand and position it with the other and then try to get the bolts in without anyone else to hold it was a little difficult but I was still able to do it in about 2 hours start to finish including tightening the bolts!
If I had a second person it surely would have taken < 15 minutes. I have a 2023 RX 350h and all you had to do was line it up and bolt it in. Didn’t need to touch the exhaust or anything, it fit well first try once i got it positioned (if you’re by yourself i recommend using skateboards lol much easier to rest it on and roll forward/back so it’s not twisted when u bolt).
Turned out great! Looks sleek. Had to turn up the exposure super high to see it in the pictures because it blends in pretty well
It does fit a 2025 Lexus RX 450h+. It is not listed on their website and when I called, the nice young lady told me etrailer does not carry a hitch for a RX 450h+ but it is essentially the same as a RX350 and the RX500 so I gave it a try. It fits perfectly and yes, the kick sensor that operates the tailgate works fine. Installed it by myself with a floor jack (to lift and hold the hitch) and a zip tie. It would have been MUCH easier with a second person, but it wasn't bad.
The only issue was UPS as they absolutely destroyed the packaging and wore some of the powder coating but it is pretty hard to destroy a hitch. So, I had to go to get some touchup paint. I hope I do not have issues with rust in the future but it is what it is.
I was amazed, the Lexus Dealership was wanting to charge me $2500 to install a Trailer Hitch. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver was a perfect fit. It was definitely a 2 person job getting it installed, but was way easier than I thought it would be. It took less than 30 minutes to get installed.
Easy install, under 30 minutes without help - and I'm 69 years old.... Took longer to get the stickers off.... 2024 Lexus RX350
