Question:

I put in my vehicle info for a fifth wheel hitch and I get many choices that include under bed rails. I specified the 2020 Ford F350 Super Duty with OEM puck system - why do I need under bed rails? What are the sliding models you have available for a 16K or 18K trailer.

Hey Jon! The "with Below Bed Rails" title on those hitches is new and I can see how it can be confusing. However, the below bed rails it is referring to is the OEM prep package you already have on your 2020 F-350. The sliding 5th wheel hitches on that page are designed to fit your truck with the puck system.

I tend to prefer the B&W Companion # BWRVK3370 you were looking at since they make a top quality product. All of the features packed into the Companion amount to a great towing experience. However, it is a manual slider. If you would prefer an automatic slider check out the PullRite SuperGlide # PUL73RR. Both are rated for 20k which is perfect for your 16k-18k range.
