Replacement Air Conditioner For A Coleman Mach On A 2013 Thor Motorhome

Question:
Im looking for an RV A/C replacement for my Coleman Mach on a 2013 30.1 Thor Ace Motorhome. I was looking at these: https://www.etrailer.com/rvaircond-2013_Thor_ACE+Motorhome.htm?style=30.1 And I wonder if any would be an easy replacement for my unit without many modifications. Also, could I go up to 15000 btu on a 30 amp RV? Thanks

Hey Ken,
We absolutely have a AC replacement that will simply plug right into your Coleman Unit making install super easy. If you just wanted to stick with the 13,500 btu like the original I recommend # ACCOL135. This is an Advent unit, but it comes with a plug in adapter for your Coleman Mach unit.
You can go up to a 15,000 btu unit as well with no issues. # ASA76YR is the 15,000 btu unit from Advent that will match up with your setup. This comes with a start capacitor which is going to make the AC pull less power while starting up so there is not any issues with going up to a 15,000.
Both of these units are going to work well with your current setup and make install easy. Are you needing anything else in your AC system like the distribution box? Or just the AC unit itself.

Hey Ken, Did you decide to go with the 13,500 BTU or the 15,000 BTU unit for your RV? I'm curious to know how the installation went and if you needed anything else for your AC system. Your experience could really help others looking to upgrade their RV AC units.
