Replacing a cracked or discolored skylight garnish means you need a proper fit without guesswork. This inner garnish fits standard 14" x 14" cutouts, lets in more natural light, and gives your ceiling a finished look.

Missing hardware during installation can slow things down if you're not prepared. This garnish installs using 1" screws, which are not included, and some people add butyl tape (sold separately) inside the flange. That tape can help block water from getting inside, while others skip it so any skylight leak shows up right away instead of being hidden. Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Specialty Recreation Universal Inner Garnish for your RV skylights. Now, folks, this is going to fit a 14 inch wide by 22 inch long cutout. Now, as far as the actual dimensions on this guy, when I measure overall, outside to outside, I get 24 inches long, and when I measure the width here, I get right at 16 inches wide. So again, 24 by 16 overall dimensions, but it fits a 14 by 22 inch cutout. Now, this is a nice, durable clear with the white polycarbonate exterior.
It's UV-resistant and also impact-resistant. The clear material's gonna let the sunlight shine through, and installs using small screws, which are not included. It's made right here in the US, and it has a great one-year warranty. The approximate bubble height is five inches, give or take. Nice product, well made by Specialty Recreation.

I ordered a domed inner skylight from another vendor, but the domed top was too tall for the skylight. The inner garnish pushed on the skylight and would not mate to the bathroom ceiling. This inner garnish has a flat top and it fit perfectly. I drilled holes in the marked indentations and re-used the screws from the old and broken inner skylight.
