I know this cover is for a 6 foot bed. What is the width of the bed cover? It should be approximately 4 feet, correct?

Hello Tracy, thanks for reaching out. The Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover w Explorer Rails # 311-JEF0908 is for the 1993-2005 Ford Ranger with the 6' stepside bed. The width of the bed on these models is right about 4'.
