What is Difference between Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells Y02-480B-ST and Y02-480B

Updated 09/26/2025 | Published 05/04/2025

Question:

Trying to find a rack to install on my Leer canopy for a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. I think the rhino rack Y02-480B-ST or the Y02-480B would both work, but I cant find the difference between the two models- is it just longer bolts? Ive only seen the difference in the description as thickinch for the Y02-480B-ST but I cant tell what that means.

Hey Dan, yes the difference between the two Rhino Rack roof rack part numbers is the length of the bolts. The part # Y02-480B has bolts that are 1-3/8 inches whereas the part # Y02-480B-ST has 2 inch long bolts. It really comes down to how thick the roof of the camper shell is. DO you know how thick yours is?

Hey Dan, did you have a chance to measure the thickness of your camper shell roof? I'm curious to know if you found the right rack for your Ridgeline, as it could help others in a similar situation.
