Question:

I am looking at this item for install on a 2016 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab with a fiberglass Leer Cap. I am questioning the length of the tracks at 63? From front to back, the Leer Cap is only 57, so I am thinking the tracks need to be shorter? How much length do the end caps add? Can these tracks be easily cut to required length? Is there a choice of track lengths? Thank you

The 59" rails that come with the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System w/ 2 Vortex Aero Crossbars # Y02-490B that you referenced can be cut to length according to your needs with your 2016 Toyota Tacoma. However, I do recommend going with the part # Y02-480B instead which is the exact same kit just with 54" long rails instead.

I went out to the warehouse and found that the rubber pieces at the ends of the rails measure about 2-1/2" so even though the usable part of the rails measures 54" they will end up being about 58-1/2" long once the rubber end caps have bee installed.

Hey there! So reading the description for #Y02-490B (59 inch Aero Crossbars) and #Y02-480B (54 inch Aero Crossbars), the tracks that are drilled into the camper shell are the same 63 inches for both those products. I'm also in need of shorter tracks. Would it be possible to swap the 63 inch tracks in #Y02-480B with the 55 inch tracks in # RTC14 so cutting wouldn't be necessary? Thanks!

@Andrew To accomplish what you're wanting to do you just need the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Factory Tracks # Y02-480B-NT and the 55" Rhino-Rack RTC-Style Roof Rack Tracks # RTC14. It doesn't look like these parts come in a specific kit together, but the only real difference is that you'll be ordering 2 parts instead of 1.
