Do Leaf Springs Sit with Rebound Springs Towards the Front or the Back of Trailer?
Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 04/27/2025 >
Question:
Is there a front / rear side for leaf spring replacement? i.e. does the rebound clip needs to go toward the front or the rear of the trailer or it is not important?

Hey Hubert, thanks for reaching out!
Normally the rebound clips will face towards the front of the trailer for leaf springs like the 2K # TRU42FR.
If you accidentally installed it the other way around, then it won't be a huge deal, but traditionally it faces the front.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
