Bumpy roads and long hauls can beat up both your trailer and cargo. This 6-leaf double-eye spring flexes to absorb road shock, keeping the ride smoother and more controlled. With a 3,500-lb spring capacity for 7,000-lb axles, it keeps everything level and reduces wear on your trailer’s frame and components.
Road grime and salt can eat away at suspension parts, but this spring’s sturdy steel construction and powder-coat finish hold up strong against rust. It’s ideal for marine and wet-weather use, keeping your suspension working smoothly season after season without premature corrosion.
Getting a clean fit matters when replacing suspension parts. This spring measures 25-1/4"" from eye to eye and 1-3/4"" wide, with pre-installed nylon bushings for 9/16"" bolts. The setup makes it straightforward to mount using hangers and shackle straps, keeping your suspension geometry right where it should be.
Old, sagging springs can throw your trailer off balance. This double-eye leaf spring restores proper ride height and stability so your trailer tracks steady behind you. The 1/4""-thick leaves work together to distribute weight evenly and keep the trailer level even on uneven ground.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this six-leaf double-eye spring for your 7,000-pound trailer axle. Now, this double-eye leaf spring acts as part of your trailer suspension system by providing an attachment point for your 7,000-pound trailer axle. This is made from sturdy steel with a powder coat that's going to help resist rust and corrosion. And this is designed to flex to absorb that road shock and give you a smooth ride. It's gonna help reduce wear and tear on your trailer, and it's also going to help ensure a level ride on bumpy and uneven surfaces.
Now, as you probably know, double-eye leaf springs attached to hangers that are welded onto your trailer. One end of the spring will attach directly to the hanger with a suspension bolt, and the other end will attach to shackle straps that are suspended from a hanger. And these straps allow the spring to move and pivot so that it can better compensate for uneven pavement. If you happen to have a tandem or a triple axle trailer, the shackle straps will be attached to the equalizer that connects multiple springs. If you are in need of hangers, suspension bolts, or equalizers, you can find all that here at etrailer.com.
In the eyes on each end are pre-installed nylon bushings. The eye diameter with the bushing is 9/16 of an inch, without the bushing it's 11/16 of an inch. And again, this is a six-leaf spring and individually it's rated at 3500 pounds. That means if you install a pair one spring on each side of your axle, you're gonna be covered for 7,000 pounds of trailer weight support. To ensure proper axle alignment and suspension performance, the leaf spring should always be replaced in pairs and we do recommend installation by a professional.
I do wanna give you the measurement of the length, and where I'm gonna be measuring center of eye to center of eye. So as I hope you can see, we're sitting right at 25 and a quarter inches and the width of the spring, one and three quarters inches. Do you happen to have a question, whether it's about this spring or any of the other items that we carry here at etrailer.com, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well again, my name is Andy.
Thank you for joining me.

3 springs that are correct are fine. The 4 spring is the wrong spring, sent a 4 leaf instead of a 7 leaf, still waiting on the correct replacement.
Nice price. Quick delivery. Product was a perfect fit. I’m very happy and will return for my trailer parts.
Shipping was pretty fast. Springs look good. Putting them on the trailer later today. Thank you!
Haven't installed as of yet but the customer service was excellent Fast shipping and good company follow up. Carter put all my questions and research at ease
I had called other suppliers, not answering phone or had no clue / answers to my questions
Haven’t had a chance to install them yet, I do believe they will work good. Replacing flattened old #3500 leafs with these for a single axel travel trailer.
The paint/coating on the springs looks awful, hopefully the metallurgy is better. Also, the leafs are shorter than the OEM Dexter spring that it replaces.
Huge difference from 4 leaf to 5 leaf on my tandem 5200lb axles
Perfect replacement for my stock Dexter Springs.
Also installed the Dexter EZ Flex Equilizer with Wet Bolt Kit.
The brass bushings should not have to be pounded in and then the bolt through the bushings because the bushings oblong them selves because the springs are not straight.
Great product
Perfect fit and great customer service
Matthew was a great help! Got the new springs installed and ready to hit the road!
I installed one leaf spring shortly after I received the three I ordered. Quality appears to be excellent. The fit was perfect! Chris, who helped me with the order was both professional and personable. He made sure I got what I needed and follow-up was excellent. Have dealt with etrailer.com previously and was pleased then and am now! They are competitive in their pricing and quality is always great.
Bought (4) 7K leaf springs and 3 fit like a glove, however the 4th was slightly twisted and needed the help of ratchet straps to make the fit. I haven't driven it yet. Would have given a five star except for the one. Service deserved a 10 star rating.
Would be five stars if they came with bronze bushings
These were the perfect replacement for the springs on my 10 year old Keystone Fuzion 414. They arrived in perfect condition and I was able to do the install myself. It took the entire day because I had never done it before but in the end, I'me very happy witht he outcome.
Broken leaf spring): Ordered the leaf spring late Friday afternoon California time zone. (We travel full time). Most impressed, order was processed Friday night by E-Trailer, with two day delivery. Of coarse it was the weekend, part was picked up Monday morning in Missouri and I had it in my hands by 11:30am Tuesday. I could track the order easily with the link E-trailer provided. We were near Redcrest California, which is not a big town at all, about 50 miles south of Eureka CA.(no parts of this kind in the area). And the best part of all--the part fit perfectly! E-trailers website is very user friendly for getting the right part, the first time!!
