Hello, I have a 2017 Cadillac Escalade vin : 1GYS4BKJXHR246196. It has the factory 7-way trailer connector installed already. Will a Voyager iD Brake Controller work on my vehicle and do I need an extra wiring harness for a plug and play installation?

Hey Josh! The Tekonsha Voyager iD Brake Controller # TK26BR comes with a universal wiring harness. Since you have the factory tow port you can use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3016 for a plug and play installation.
I see you also looked at the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED26CR. If you're trying to decide between the two I would get the Liberty for sure. This is hands down my favorite brake controller and the design the iD is based on. The Liberty has been around a lot longer and has proven itself to be a really reliable brake controller you can count on. This comes with a custom wiring harness so you won't need to get one separately.
