If you need to connect to a trailer that has a 7-way but does not have or need brake signal, 12V power, or a reverse signal then you can the # 337TC1474P connector. It plugs into your existing 4-way and then you can tape the other wires up out of the way. I have included a video of this being installed with another kit on an SUV and at the very end of the video you can see this 7-way being installed.

To get a fully functional 7-way on your 2018 Ford F-150 with a factory 4-way, you will need to use a kit like the # ETBC7. This kit will plug into your existing 4-way. Then you will need to route a few wires, install some in-line circuit breakers and make a couple of connections to get all the functions of the the 7-way including trailer brakes, 12V power, and reverse lights or reverse lock out.

I have included a help article that walks you through the process of installing a fully functional ETBC7 and installation on a similar truck for your reference.

Both the # C26HR or the # E98871 trailer hitch are confirmed to fit your 2018 Ford F-150, and have similar installations. I recommend the # E98871 for the sleeker look and matte finish, and it is our most popular selling hitch for this vehicle.

I have a 2021 Durango RT. I ordered a hitch that will hide nicely behind the bumper cover and even ordered a new painted bumper cover for the center to hide everything. I have a question regarding wiring. I need a 4 and 7 pin connector. The 7 will go to a small RV with electric brakes. Currently I pull this RV with a Jeep Gladiator and use a Curt Bluetooth in line brake controller which seems to work perfectly. How do I wire the Durango to use this setup on it? All of the videos seem to lead me to adding a brake controller in the cab which I am trying to avoid and just use what I have already purchased.

@Courtney Your Durango has no factory tow package, correct? If so, I recommend you use the Tekonsha T-One # 118617 along with the # ETBC7 Universal Install Kit. The Curt Echo Bluetooth controller only needs 12v power and brake light signal in order to function. So, technically you don't need to run all of the wires. No reason to run the brake wire to the front of the vehicle since you won't be using an in-cab controller. Still the # ETBC7 kit will contain everything you need. All of your wire and connectors. Once its done you will have a 4-flat and a 7-way on the back of your Durango. Here are links to a few helpful install videos:

@JesseM Wouldn't 37185 work too and I would tap the power wire to the battery for both units? I would also upgrade this wire to a 10 g Marine grade tinned wire and use a fuse or breaker in line too.

@DavidB Yes that would work too as long as you are getting power straight from the battery. 10 gauge is also fine to use and yes you will need a breaker in line.
