TireMinder Model TPMS-i10-4 - What Does N5 On Monitor Mean?
Updated 09/26/2025 | Published 04/22/2025 >
Question:
I have a tireminder TPMS-i10-4 Model TM22141 I Think.. I cannot find a model on the box or in the instruction manual which I think should be there. One of my sensors shows a n5 on the display for one tire, but I cannot find out anything about that in the manual. Maybe it is a bad battery, or something else . Again, I cannot find out any troubleshooting issues in your manual, that you insist I read completely. Can you give me some idea??

Hello Ron, thanks for reaching out. It is weird that TireMinder does not list these codes anywhere in their instructions. I checked with my contact at TireMinder and was told the following:
N5 means "No Signal" and it means either their transmitter battery has died or is low on voltage, the transmitter itself is missing, or that it is defective.
Try these troubleshooting steps:
1. Confirm with a voltmeter that your battery is 3V or more. If not, please replace it with one that is.
2. Delete the transmitter from your monitor. Put your monitor into Learn Mode, use the right or left buttons to move to the position you wish to desire, and delete it manually from the monitor.
3. Re-learn the transmitter to the monitor. For the best results, we would recommend learning it to another, different valve stem than the previous one, which will help confirm whether the issue is with the transmitter or with the particular valve stem.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do.
