Now, this includes everything shown here on the table, both shoes, the 2 hold down springs, and the pins. Now, these brake shoes and linings are for electric trailer brakes that are on 5200 pound, a 7000 axles. Now, a brake assembly is always measured .. like, this will fit a brake assembly that's 12" x 2", and where they get those measurements from is the 12", when this is all assembled onto your backing plate and everything and you measure directly across diameter.

That would get you the 12" size. Right about there will be 12", and then the 2" is the width of the pad, itself. 12" x 2 is the brake assembly this fits on. Now, this does include the primary shoe, and this is the secondary shoe, and the way you can tell the difference in the 2 is you look at the length of the pad itself. This one's shorter. The shoe that has the shorter pad is the primary shoe, and that will always go in the front. It faces the front of the trailer. The shorter shoe will be the front shoe, and the longer pad will be the secondary shoe, which is the rear shoe. Now, these parts are certified for USSAE standards and CSA standards, which are the Canadian standards. These are designed to be used which with 12" drums.
