Best Weight Distribution Hitch For 2024 Keystone Half-ton Cougar 22RBS With TW Around 900 lbs

Question:
Tow vehicle, 25 Silverado, 3.0L Turbo Duramax. Trailer 2024 Keystone Half-ton Cougar 22RBS. Tongue weight from factory 630 lbs. supposed to include weight of two 30 lb empty propane tanks. Additional tongue weight will be 60 lbs of propane once tanks are filled, two deep cycle 27 seriesfoot batteries, approx 120 lbs. Approx. Therefore, approx tongue weight will be: 630 as published by Keystone 60 120 50 for the Blue ox hitch I am looking at and this is just a wild guess 50 for other misc possible weight... 910 approx tongue weight...and this could be less at times empty propane tanks or more something large in the pass through front luggage area Looking at the Blue Ox 2-Point Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 6-Hole Shank - 12K GTW, 1.2K TW Thanks for any suggestions....

Hello again, Doug. Thanks for providing all that detailed info. It definitely helps!
You are on the right track with the 12K Blue Ox 2-Point Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BLU75FR. This will work on trailers with a tongue weight between 800 and 1200 lbs. It sounds like you will be right within this range at all times give or take the weight of your propane tanks.
The weight distribution hitch itself weighs about 95 lbs.
Just keep in mind the L-brackets must be places between 20" to 25" back from the center of the hitch ball, so please measure and make sure you have room in this spot on the frame. As long as your have room, this will be a solid option for the price.

Thanks for the reply. I was ready to order the Blue Ox however the placement of the brackets (20"-25") were impossible to make on this Keystone. The twin propane tank holder was exactly in that location. Therefore, I ended up ordering the "Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 12K GTW, 1.2K TW". And the bar brackets are past the 25" mark so fit will be perfect. Also, used my hitch scale today and hitch weight is approx. 920 lbs.
