Hello Andrew,

Thank you for the picture, it is always most helpful.

Yes, the Lippert # LC116658 Replacement Crown Gear is a steel gear used in Lippert through-frame RV slide-out mechanisms. It has an outer diameter of approximately 2.34 inches, a 1/2-inch center bore with a keyway, and measures about 0.5 inches thick. The gear has 26 teeth just like yours in the picture, that is if course because I counted the ones that are no longer there.

The Replacement Crown Gear for Lippert RV Slide-Out Mechanism # LC116658 is definitely the right one for you.

Did the gear get damaged on a trip?

Hi Kate, The client wasn't sure how it broke but I did tell her to be careful of how long she holds the switch after it has completed its open/ close cycle. The gear fit perfect and worked perfect thank you!!!

@TheM It sounds like you’ve dealt with this issue before, that is usually what damages the gear. I’m glad to hear everything worked out. If you ever have questions down the road, you know where to find us!
