Is there a Plug In Wiring Harness for the 2005 Honda Element
Updated 01/04/2010 | Published 01/02/2010 >
Question:
Hi, ive been researching this for quite a bit now, but cant find a solid answer, i have an 05 Honda E and supposedly there arent any plug right out of the box solutions like on your video for the 07, but i have all the plugs you mention on the video. Will this kit still work? and why not? i really dont want to tap into the break light.

I checked with several of my sources just to be sure and although the connectors may be present, on your 2005 Honda Element, the trailer tow wiring is not completed to these connectors. Your vehicle will require hard wiring for a 4-Way trailer connector. I would recommend the Upgraded Circuit Protected Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit with 4 Pole End (Includes Testers), item # 119178KIT, for your vehicle. This wiring kit includes everything needed to complete the installation including a circuit testers to find the wires to splice to and check the installation once completed. We have a video installation of this wiring harness for you to review.
