Does GE RV AC Unit Come with a Softstart

Does this setup have a built-in start capacitor, or will I need to pick one up separately?

Hey Dee, the GE Appliances Deluxe RV AC unit part # GE34FR does not come with a start capacitor. To add one I would actually go with a Softstart part # SSR54FR as this not only acts as a capacitor it also allows the unit to start up in a staggered way so that all of the components don't come on at once which does a great job preventing a huge amperage draw all at once.
