Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look together at this GE Appliances 13,500 BTU white deluxe RV air conditioner. Now, this is gonna be a great option for you to consider if you're looking to upgrade or add an air conditioner on your RV's ducted or ductless system in your small to medium-sized camper. This 13,500 BTU per hour air conditioner is going to cool evenly and handle harsh road conditions. And this is all coming from a brand name that you know and trust. Now, this does use the more energy-efficient R-32 refrigerant, which does meet the 2025 EPA regulations.
So because of that, this will not be backwards compatible with any air conditioner systems from 2024 and earlier. Now, this will be a bolt-on installation. This does not include the bolts. Those are usually included with the air distribution boxes that's going to work with your particular application. But with this, you will need an air distribution box, a control box, which is basically the brains of the operation and a thermostat.
So if you are in need of all of those components, you need the entire system. We do carry those here at etrailer.com from GE. So you can take a look at those options that are gonna best fit your particular application. Now, this is gonna fit roofs from two to six inches thick with an opening size of 14 3/8 inches long by 14 and 3/8 inches wide. And looking at some overall measurements, the overall length is 32 13/16 inches long.
The overall width is 26 1/8 inches wide. And the height is right under 14 inches tall. And the weight is gonna be a little bit under 80 pounds. So this is gonna run pretty quietly for you because the motor has sound dampening grommets, which is going to help reduce annoying humming and vibration sounds. And this is gonna be a pretty easy swap with most RVs.
It's going to seamlessly install over your roofs, pre-existing roof vent opening. And you probably can't see it, but we do have foam pads underneath that are gonna do a great job of supporting this on the roof of your RV or camper. They're also gonna help knock down that vibration and rattling. You've got a gasket there over the the opening as well, which will seal between the air conditioner and the RV roof opening. And this is built tough for the road. This is built of high-grade material, so it's gonna do a great job of withstanding extreme UV rays and constant vibration. As you can see, we do have this white cover, it's a automotive-grade hard polymer cover that's going to protect the internal components from water and debris. And it can be easily removed for cleaning or maintenance that's secured in place on each side by two Phillips head screws. Now, this does include a wiring harness and it is tucked in underneath the unit. You'll just have to pull that out through the opening to plug it in. But on your screen, I thought it'd be easier just to show you a photo of those connectors so you have a clear view of those connection points. And then you do want to keep the rear of this AC unit at least 18 inches away from any obstructions for proper airflow. And again, this is from GE, a trusted name, especially for appliances inside the home and inside the kitchen. So you're gonna be bringing that trustworthiness and that reliability with this GE AC unit into your RV. So again, if you're looking for a complete system, if you're looking for this AC, but with the black cover instead of a white or any other type of system from GE, please take a look at those other options that we have from them here at etrailer.com. If you do discover or determine that this is going to be the one that will work best for your particular application, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with the installation and the operation. So you can do that by leaving a comment or a review on this product page and we would love to hear back from you. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
