Hi, Just discovered a crack in a brake drum on my trailer. Question...can I just buy a drum or do I have to buy the whole assembly? Thanks, John

Hey John! For lower capacity axles the hub and drum are going to come together. If you have a 3,500 lb axle you can use the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K and for a 5,200-7,000 lb axle the # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K. Larger brake drums starting at 9k and up are typically two piece with the drum available as a separate replacement part like # DX64FR.

Hey John, how did things work out with the replacement brake drum for your trailer? Your update could make it easier for others figuring out whether they need the full hub and drum assembly or just the drum.
