Hello Bruce, thanks for reaching out. What I recommend for you is the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37101ET. This is made for trailers with a tongue weight between 600 and 1,000 lbs, so your trailer will be right within that range at all time. The Equal-i-zer systems are known for producing great results, and for being easy to set up. Just keep in mind the frame brackets must be placed between 27" and 32" back from the hitch ball, so please make sure you have open space on your tongue for the frame brackets which are about 2" wide.

Also, the # EQ37101ET WD hitch does not include a shank, so one will need to be purchased separately. What size hitch receiver do you have on your truck? If you have a 2-1/2" receiver I recommend the # EQ90-02-4900 which has 6" of drop, or the # EQ90-02-4300 if you have a 2" hitch. Also please make sure the 6" drop will be enough to accommodate your trailer. If your truck is lifted you may need a shank with more drop.

I hope you find this helpful. Feel free to reach out with any other questions or comments and I am happy to get back to you.

Hey Bruce, how did the Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch work out with your cargo conversion camper? Did the sway control give you the stability you were looking for when towing with your F450? Your feedback could really help others setting up a similar rig.
