I bought one of your etrailer brand 3500 tounge jacks . I dont want to put a battery on my car trailer . What size wire should I use from My truck battery to a plug in the rear of the truck ?

Hey Tom, thanks for reaching out!

You'll want to use 10 Gaug Wire # 10-1-1 and a 40A Circuit Breaker # PK54540 to get a hot line from your truck battery to the plug at the back of your truck.

Do you already have a 7-Way on your truck and on your trailer?
